On September 17, 2022, Diane Tamasi, 80, passed away at home in the company of her devoted family. She was raised in Lawrenceville after attending Princeton High School and being born there. For her three sons, Diane cared for the home. She enjoyed gardening, being outside, sewing, crocheting, and other crafts. She was quite active. She is survived by her three sons Michael Tamasi III, Edward Tamasi and wife Monica Davis, and Jeffrey Tamasi and wife Carol, as well as her three grandchildren Allison Tamasi, Jeffrey Tamasi Jr., and Daniela Tamasi.

She was predeceased by her parents William and Elizabeth (Stierle) Toto, her husband Michael Tamasi Jr., and her brother and sister-in-law William Toto Jr. and Mildred.The Mather-Hodge Funeral Home, 40 Vandeventer Avenue, Princeton, NJ 08542 will have a visitation on Monday, September 26, 2022 from 5-8 p.m. and on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 from 9-10 a.m. Tuesday’s funeral service and burial in Princeton Cemetery will both begin at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Ross Wesley and Doris Deane (DeWitt) Sandquist welcomed Diane Marie, their first child, on November 16, 1944. Siblings Dale, Darlene, and Debbie later joined Diane. Before coming to Emerson in 1957, the family was residing on a farm close to Elliott. In 1962, Diane completed her high school education at Nishna Valley. She began working for Thomas D. Murphy Calendar Company in Red Oak after graduating.

Vince Davidson and Diane were wed on September 8, 1963. Jeff and Joel, as well as a daughter who was stillborn, were born to this couple. In 1979, Diane and her family relocated to Dayton, Wyoming, and then in 1984, to Sheridan, Wyoming. She started working at the Sheridan County Fullmer Public Library after relocating to Wyoming.
