Over the Labor Day weekend, a guy from Savannah was discovered dead at Bear Creek Marina on Jackson Lake after having accidentally fallen into the water there. The body of Deppish Kirkland, 72 years old, was discovered on Sunday morning, approximately eight hours after it was claimed that he had fallen over the side of a boat. A spokeswoman for the Georgia Department of Natural Resources stated that game wardens from the state of Georgia responded to a complaint of a probable drowning in the stream at approximately 2:30 in the morning on Sunday, September 4. According to the statements made by the spokesperson for Sea Hunt, the incident occurred while the victim was riding on the gunwale, which is the upper edge, of a Sea Hunt center console boat.

Robert Lloyd Deppisch, a devoted husband, passed away on June 21, 2022 at the age of eighty. He was the father of four children and ten grandkids. He was the son of Eugene and Josephine (Sherman) Deppisch and was born on February 22, 1942 in the city of Havre de Grace, Maryland. Eugene, Josephine, and James, Bob’s older brother, all passed away before Bob did. Bob was the only survivor of his immediate family. He is survived by his wife Deborah, his four children, Richard (Cheryl) Deppisch, Kristen (Darren) Weisberg, Carolyn (Jeff) Konz, and Robert (Lara) Deppisch, his brother Richard (Rochelle) Deppisch, his sister Jerelyn (Robert) Reher, and his sister Mary Jo Deppisch-Herold, ten grandchildren, and a number of cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He obtained his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore in 1964. He completed his high school education at Salesianum, which is located in Wilmington, Delaware. Cynthia Jo Peasley (Stronghurst, Illinois) is the mother of Richard, Kristen, and Carolyn. He met her while he was on tour in Germany, and they got married on June 18, 1966. She suffered from melanoma cancer and passed away on March 20, 1977.
