Although he spent the majority of his life in Keansburg and Brooklyn, he was born in Red Bank, and he only moved to Freehold a few months ago. Dennis spent a good portion of his career in the television industry working as a set designer for the WPIX Television Station in New York. He was a winner of the Emmy Award, and he had a passion for shopping, traveling, and all things related to fashion and his “Label’s.” He was an all-around fun-loving guy who would give you the shirt off his back and whose smile could make a room brighter just by walking in, and he had a deep appreciation for everything the city had to offer. He will be remembered for the rest of his life for these qualities. His mother, Carol McKenna, who passed away in 2010, and his sister, Michelle McKenna, who passed away in 1970, both preceded Dennis in death. His father, Vincent McKenna Sr., of Jackson, his brothers Raymond and Christie McKenna of Jackson, Vince McKenna Jr. and his partner John Bianco of New York, his three nephews Raymond Jr., Patrick and Liam McKenna of Jackson, as well as a large number of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other members of his extended family, are among those who are still living. On Tuesday, November 23, from 3 to 7 PM, members of the family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals, which is located at 233 Carr Avenue in Keansburg. Full Obituary
