1. Deloris Zimmerman Obituary, of Marshfield, Massachusetts – Death

At the end of a wonderful and illuminating life, Deloris Zimmerman, a beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away at the age of 89 in the Wishek Living Center. She was a resident there. First Baptist Church in Wishek will be the location of the funeral services to be held on Friday, September 2, 2022, at 10:30 AM. At the Dahlstrom Funeral Home in Wishek, there will be a prayer service at 7:00 PM on the evening of Thursday, September 1, 2022, following the visitation that will take place from 5-7 PM. St. Luke Cemetery will be the location of the burial services.

Wishek, North Dakota was the place where Deloris, the daughter of Adam and Bertha (Kautz) Boschee, was delivered on April 29th, 1933. She was raised in the Wishek and Lehr areas and received her education from the local agricultural schools there. Beginning at a young age, she assisted with the work on the farm as well as with all of the activities that her mother performed, such as cleaning the house, preparing meals, butchering, milking cows twice a day, and “mothering” the three youngest of her seven siblings. 2.  Deloris A. Zimmerman Obituary, of Elgin – Death

Survivors include her children, Carol (Larry) Moser, Marsha Newcomer, Alan (Cathy) Zimmerman, and Danny (Margie) Zimmerman; her grandchildren, Derek Moser, Julie (Matt) Saban, Melissa Bowman, Drew, Nathan, and Deanna Zimmerman. Other survivors include her brother, Robert (Phyllis) Kamp; her sister-in-law, Jeannine “Neen” Kamp, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to her parents and her beloved husband, Dee was preceded in death by her sister, Phyllis E. Bump; her brothers, Richard C. and John K. “Jack” Kamp; and her son-in-law, David Newcomer. Ron passed away on December 20, 2000, two days before Dee, after the couple had been married for 54 years.

It was Deloris A. At the age of 91, “Dee” Zimmerman (née Kamp), who resided in Elgin, Illinois, passed away at St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin on the morning of Sunday, January 2, 2022. The 8th of February, 1930 found Dee being welcomed into the world in Elgin as the daughter of William and Gertrude (née Strubing) Kamp. Dee had spent her entire life in the Dundee and Elgin communities, and she was an active member of the Calvary Lutheran Church in Elgin for a very long period. Dee was an employee of the School District U-46 Food Services for more than 20 years before she retired from the company. She tied the knot with her future spouse Ronald Zimmerman on November 10th, 1946.  Read More
