Delma Lee Sutliff, age 84, of Braceville, Tennessee, died away on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at Windsor House in Champion. She was surrounded by her family at the time of her passing. She was the daughter of the late Delmar Martin and the late Mabel DeWitt Martin, and she was born on June 27, 1938 in Banetown, Pennsylvania. Both of her parents have since passed away. She tied the knot with Frank K. Sutliff on July 6th, 1957.

They were married for 64 years and created a wealth of great experiences together before he passed away on May 19, 2022. She had completed her high schooling at Bristol High. At Champion Schools, Lee worked as a custodian for a total of ten years at that time. She was actively involved in both the CWF and the North Bristol Christian Church, where she was a member. She spent her life serving others and providing inspiration through teaching, tutoring, community activities, and notably her social networking, and she managed to keep her mind fresh and active right up until the end of her life. She was one of three children and grew up in Cobleskill, where she was engaged in the Lutheran church and graduated as salutatorian of her high school class.

Mary Larkin Williams was born in Schoharie County in 1903 and spent her childhood there. She was the only girl of the three. After that, she went on to earn her Magna Cum Laude degree from Syracuse University, where she served as president of Women’s Chapel, a member of Alpha Omega Pi, and an active participant in the women’s governing board as well as other honorary societies.
