Maple Grove Man Shot, Killed In Plymouth; Police Searching For Suspect

MAPLE GROVE, MN — A 28-year-old Maple Grove man was fatally shot last week in Plymouth, and police are now asking for help in their search for a suspect.

Marlon Pompey was shot around 8:25 p.m. June 9 at a gas station in the 9600 block of 36th Avenue North in Plymouth, police said. First responders treated Pompey there before he was taken to a local hospital, where he died shortly after, according to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner.

Plymouth police identified Daniel James Hart, 23, of Brooklyn Park, as a suspect in the fatal shooting and are seeking help to find him.
