2 shot, killed in Cahokia Heights
CAHOKIA HEIGHTS, Ill. – Two people were found dead Saturday morning in Cahokia Heights. Both had suffered gunshot wounds.
The Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis has been activated to investigate the deaths. Police have identified Dantez T. Ford, of Cahokia Heights, and Sean A. Johnson, of Swansea, as the victims.
Officers found two men were found dead while responding to a welfare check in the 4100 block of Brady Avenue around 11:20 a.m. Saturday. Police found a 21-year-old man in a parked vehicle and a 24-year-old man inside the home. Both men suffered gunshot wounds, and both were pronounced dead at the scene.
