David C. Shaughnessy, Chicago: On July 25, 2022, in the Ascension Alexian Brothers Hospital, David C. Shaughnessy, age 60, lost his battle with lung cancer after a long and courageous fight. He was the son of David and Eileen Shaughnessy and was born on March 7th, 1962 in the city of Chicago. After completing his high school education at New Trier, Dave went on to attend the University of Illinois.
Dave was a devoted follower of the Chicago Blackhawks and the Chicago Cubs, and he frequently spent his evenings with his family watching sporting events. He was a good player of golf and cards, both of which he enjoyed doing with his friends and family. David’s father, also named David, passed away before Dave was born. In addition to his wife Susan, he is survived by his three daughters, Meghan, Molly, and Mary Claire; his mother, Eileen Shaughnessy; his sisters Margaret Nagel, Mary Christine Collins, and Eileen Shaughnessy; and a large number of nieces and nephews. David Mark Shaughnessy, Las Vegas, Nevada: White Bear Lake’s Cherished Father and Grandfather Age 68 unexpectedly passed away on March 6, 2010, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Water Gremlin Company employee for 27 years who then decided to retire. His wife, Jane, as well as his brothers Steve and Dick, had passed away before him. Children Duane (Sue), Ed (Melissa), Kelly (Josh) Holtaus, and Ryan survive him, along with a total of 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
