1.  David Ryan Walker Obituary, a Vermilion man – Death

A four-vehicle accident that occurred on US 6 near milepost 5 in Sandusky County at approximately 10:30 p.m. on Sunday night resulted in the death of a guy from Vermilion who was 20 years old. The Fremont Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol reports that the accident that took place in Madison Township occurred while a man from Toledo with the age of 42 was driving a 2011 Ford F-150 in the direction of eastbound US 6.

According to the statements made to the authorities by witnesses, he drove to the left of the center lane and attempted to pass multiple vehicles. An accident involving four vehicles claims the life of a Vermilion man; three others are hurt. When a head-on collision between a Ford F-150 and a Ford 500 occurred, the Vermilion resident, who was 20 years old at the time, was a passenger in the Ford 500. Read More


2. David Ryan Walker Obituary, of Columbus – Death

David Ryan Walker, 38 years old and a resident of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on April 28, 2014. On January 22, 1976, he was welcomed into the world by his parents, David L. Walker and Debra Walker-Fields, in Bloomington. David completed his high school at Martinsville and received his diploma. After 17 years of service in the Army National Guard, David was promoted to the rank of E4 Specialist and served one tour of duty in Iraq. David was a devoted son, brother, and friend in addition to being a doting father. He had a lot of fun hanging out and joking with the other soldiers in the unit. His mother, Debra Walker-Fields, and his three children, Devan, Breanna, and Ryan, will carry on his legacy after his passing.

In addition, he leaves behind two sisters, Terri (Terrell) Nowling (Scott) of Columbus and Crystal (Walker) Sigmag (John) of Indianapolis; two brothers, Adam Walker of Mishawaka and Jeff Walker (Cheri) of Louisville, Kentucky; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Terri (Terrell) Walker. His father, David L. Walker, passed away before him and is no longer with us. On Monday, May 5, 2014, at 2:00 p.m., Funeral Services will be held at Chandler Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Baker officiating. Both the Indiana National Guard Honor Guard and the Monroe County Honor Guard will provide the honors for the deceased military service member. Read More
