Luke Daniel A. Luke, 42 years old, was a resident of Canal Winchester and passed away at Diley Ridge Medical Center on October 4, 2015. He was born on April 9, 1973, and graduated from New Carlisle High School. He then attended The Ohio State University for his undergraduate degree and Capital University for his master’s in business administration. The Huntington National Bank was his place of employment, and he was a member of the Lithopolis United Methodist Church.
Angela Luke, his wife of 18 years, his daughters Alexa and Adyson, his mother Lou Ann Luke of New Carlisle, his brother Dave Luke of West Milton, his mother-in-law Bonnie (Barry) Fouss of McConnelsville, his father-in-law Ronald White of Stockport, his brother-in-law Tracy White of Falling Waters, West Virginia, and a niece named Ashlyn are among those who survive him. Daniel G. Luke Jr. March 1, 2021 Daniel G. Luke, Jr., was born on January 20, 1928 in Baldwinsville, New York. He was the son of Daniel G. Luke, Sr. and Mary J. McCarthy. Daniel G. Luke, Jr. passed away in peace on March 1, 2021. St. Mary’s Church in Baldwinsville counted Daniel as a lifelong member during his entire life. On August 4, 1951, he wed the woman who would become the love of his life, Anna, whom he had previously only known through a blind date at a barn dance.
He served in the National Guard and was assigned to work on the Erie Canal, where he was responsible for putting buoys and unlocking locks. In addition to that, he also employed at Mercer Milling and assisted locally owned dairy farms. After 31 years of service at Allied Chemical, he took early retirement. He spent his retirement tending to his garden and having fun with his relatives when they came to visit.
