1. Cully Turner Obituary, of Elmore City – Death
On Wednesday, a motorbike accident in Murray County, Oklahoma, claimed the life of a man from Oklahoma. According to the officials from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Cully Turner, who was 51 years old and from Elmore City, passed away at the University of Oklahoma Medical Center in Oklahoma City. As a result of the collision, Turner was left with damage to her head, arms, legs, and internal organs. After being transported to the hospital by medical helicopter, he passed away few hours later.
The collision took place on U.S. Route 77, approximately 4.9 miles north of Davis and south of Ketner Road. On the southern portion of U.S. Route 77, Turner was navigating a 2017 Harley-Davidson motorcycle. He lost control of his bike and went into a big slide after riding off the right side of the road. According to the officials with the OHP, he was thrown from the motorcycle, At the time of the accident, there was no precipitation in the sky, and the roadway was bone dry. Erin Nicole Cully, age 26, of Morning View, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, January 14, 2014; her passing was announced. She started her education at St. Henry Grade School, continued her education at Beechwood High School, and eventually enrolled at Brown Mackie College in Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky. She once worked as a waitress at Z’s Café in Union, Kentucky. Erin was a former manager at the Gold Star Chili location in Independence. She was a very nurturing person, and she had a deep passion for animals. Her grandfather Robert Spencer was the one who passed away before she did.
Those who survived her include her children, Caleb David Stephens and Kendall Jo Ann Stephens; her mother, Lisa Spencer Knipper; her father, David (Laura) Cully; her step-father, Greg Knipper; her sisters, Chelsea Knipper, Candace Knipper, Hannah Knipper, and Anna Cully; her brothers, Andrew Rich, and Daniel Cully; and her grandparents, Nancy and Don Cully, Buddy and Karen Rich, Virginia and Leo Knipper, and Helen Spencer.
