1. Colby Dowling Death, Of Lakeville – Obituary

According to the Bristol County District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn, an investigation is currently being conducted in Taunton into the fatal shooting of a 26-year-old lady who lived in Lakeville, Massachusetts. According to Quinn’s office, the death is being investigated as possibly being suspicious. Wednesday night about 11 o’clock, an apartment located at 52 Tremont Street in Taunton, Massachusetts, placed a 911 call reporting a woman who had been shot in the leg.

The victim, who was later determined to be Colby Dowling, was discovered at the location by first responders. At the scene, a medical examiner pronounced her dead. According to statements made by Quinn’s office, there were other people present inside the flat at the time of the event. The death of the woman is being investigated by prosecutors, investigators from the State Police who are attached to the district attorney’s office, and the Taunton police. Source

2. Christian R. Dowling Death, Of Boston – Obituary

Although Christian was born in Boston, he spent his childhood in Winchester and attended Winchester High School, where he graduated with the class of 1992. After completing his undergraduate degree at Hobart and William Smith College, he went on to complete his training in the culinary arts at the Culinary Institute of America. He is now an accomplished chef. Christian had a deep appreciation for the culinary arts and a voracious appetite for learning about new techniques. In addition to that, he enjoyed expressing his creative side by drawing, sculpting, painting, and playing the harmonica in his spare time.

Christian was a devoted sports fan who also excelled at playing sports; in 1990, the Winchester High School team that went on to win the Superbowl had him as the starting outside linebacker. In 1992, when he was a senior at WHS, he led the lacrosse team as its captain. In addition to that, he was a member of the WHS varsity hockey team. When he wasn’t actively participating, he took great pride in cheering for the Winchester Sachems, especially his favorite players. In his spare time, he enjoyed nothing more than going out on the water and taking his boat for rides around Martha’s Vineyard and Falmouth. He was a fan of music of all kinds, but he was most enthusiastic about going to live performances with his many close friends.  Read more
