1. Clarence King Death, Of Carolina – Obituary
The automobile owner who was shot and killed in Fort Lauderdale by a tow truck driver who was attempting to reclaim his vehicle has been named by the police. The incident occurred when the car owner confronted the tow truck driver. Wednesday morning at approximately ten o’clock, an event occurred in a neighborhood located in the one hundred block of Carolina Avenue. According to the reports of the Fort Lauderdale Police Department, a conflict and incident took place between the owner of the vehicle, 38-year-old Clarence King,
and a tow truck driver who had arrived to reclaim a vehicle. King was instantly killed by gunfire at the scene of the incident. A 911 call from the location was made public by the authorities on Thursday, and in it, a guy can be heard urgently screaming for assistance. The man yells out, “I require police assistance right now!” “I require an ambulance at this very moment!” According to a neighbor, King had taken his little daughter with him to see his girlfriend when he was shot and died. 2. Clarence King Death, Of Atlanta – Obituary
Clarence Edward King, age 70, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Riverview Health in Noblesville, Indiana. He was a resident of Atlanta. His parents were John Sherman King and Laura (Osborne) King, and he was born on May 15, 1950 in the city of Hazard, Kentucky. Before Clarence retired in 2014, he spent a significant portion of his career in the maintenance department at IUPUI. He was a big fan of drag racing his 1969 Dodge Coronet 500, along with motorcycles, weapons, shooting targets, watching old westerns, and target shooting. Clarence was a jokester who also had a soft spot for animals. Above all else, he treasured the time he got to spend with his offspring and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary King; daughters Judy Marie (Lonnie) Heuck, Abbie Lynn (Zachary) Tobey, and Amanda Leigh (Michael) Dunn; son Russell William (Ashley) King; siblings Russell G. King and Betty Sue Ingram; and 12 grandchildren. He is also survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary King. In addition to his parents, six of his siblings passed away before he did. His parents passed away first. On Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at one o’clock in the afternoon, funeral services will be held at Harbour Shores Church, located at 8011 East 216th Street in Cicero. Pastor Steve Schultze will preside over the ceremony. On Tuesday, visitation will take place from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the church. The interment will take place at Westfield’s Summit Lawn Cemetery. Read more
