Twitter certainly thinks so after the cameras panned to Chet Holmgren’s family at the Barclays Center on Thursday night, when the former Gonzaga star was selected second overall by the Oklahoma City Thunder.
As Holmgren’s father David got air time, social media started cracking jokes.
“Chet Holmgren’s dad looks like an early 1990s movie villain. Ponytail, blazer over black tee shirt,” one user quipped. Another wrote, “chet holmgren’s dad looks like the villain from kindergarten cop.”
