McIntyre, who resided in both Pleasantville, New York and Block Island, Rhode Island, passed away while he was sleeping peacefully. New York, New York was the location of Brian’s birth on February 7, 1961. His devoted parents, Louis F. McIntyre, Jr. and Althea Martin McIntyre, passed away before he was born. His siblings, Dr. Louis F. McIntyre III (Lizanne O’Toole), Charles M. McIntyre, and Timothy W. McIntyre, as well as his sister Maureen A. McAdams, will carry on his legacy after his passing (Timothy McAdams). Brian had a lot of nieces, nephews, and cousins who he adored. Brian received his high school education at Pleasantville High School. He then attended the Connecticut Institute of Art to study Graphic Design. Brian McIntyre Obituary, Glace Bay: Brian McIntyre, who was 77 years old at the time of his death, passed away at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital in Sydney on June 24, 2022. He was the son of the late Ignatius “Iggie” and Mary (Francis) McIntyre, both of whom passed away, and were born in Glace Bay. Iggies in Glace Bay was Brian’s father’s tavern, and he spent many years working there. He was well known for his ardent support of both the Habs and the Yankees. There will be cremation of the remains. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 (a Wednesday), at 11 am and will be followed by a reception at the V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home & Cremation Centre located at 16 Reserve Street in Glace Bay. The event was presided over by Deacon Shawn Bigley. Full Obituary
