BRADFORD, Pa. – On Tuesday (April 2, 2019), Brian Richard Boser passed away with his family by his side, including his wife Diane and his children. He was the son of Carl and Mary Gleason, as well as his stepmother Leona, and was born on November 2nd, 1940 in Allegany, New York. At a ceremony held on September 6, 2006, in Bradford, Brian wed Diane Lee Carinci. In 1959, he received his diploma from Allegany High School.
Over the course of more than three decades, he ran his own business, was a co-owner of the Bradford Fruit Market, and sold flowers for Mother’s Day, Easter, and other holidays in Bradford. Brian enjoyed many things, such as Nascar racing, but his pride and joy were collecting matchbox cars since 1954. He had every type of matchbox car that was ever created and even traveled to Hawaii to get them. It is common knowledge that he possesses the most extensive collection in the area. Source

Lorraine A. Boser, who had lived in Pierz, Minnesota for the past several years but was originally from Lastrup, Minnesota, passed away on Sunday, May 25 at the Meadow Ponds Assisted Living in Pierz, Minnesota. She was 95 years old. At St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church in Lastrup, Minnesota, on Wednesday, May 28, at 10:30 a.m., there will be a celebration of the Christian burial rites, and Father David Maciej will preside over the ceremony. St. John’s Nepomuk Catholic Cemetery is going to be the location of the burial.
On Tuesday, May 27, a visitation will take place at the Emblom Brenny Funeral Service from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. On Wednesday, May 28, the visitation will take place at the funeral home from 8:30 AM till 10:00 AM. On Tuesday evening, at the funeral home, there will first be a recitation of the rosary at 4:30, and then the prayers of the parish will begin at 5:00. Lorraine A. Schraut was born in Hillman Township, Morrison County, Minnesota on February 7, 1919. Her parents were Nicholas and Agnes (Joa) Schraut. She completed the eighth grade before leaving school.
