According to the New York State Police, a motorcycle accident that occurred early on Wednesday morning on Rochester’s Inner Loop resulted in the death of a man from Rochester who was 35 years old. Just after one in the morning, officers say that Brandon Carmen was riding his motorcycle east on the Inner Loop near St. Paul Street when he collided with a guardrail and was ejected from his vehicle after hitting the guardrail. He was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital, but a medical examiner determined that he was already deceased upon arrival. The accident is still being looked into by the troopers. Source

 

2. Alton Carmen Obituary Born in Nashville, TN – Death

On August 7, 2021, Alton “Cecil” Carmen passed away after a long and happy life at the age of 95. On October 23, 1925, he was born in Nashville, Tennessee, and it is also where he spent his childhood. For the past 58 years, he has been an active member of First United Methodist Church Maryville, where he has served on a number of different boards. He had been a member of the New Providence Lodge No. 128 for the past seven decades. He holds a Master of Science degree in Dairy Science from the University of Tennessee, where he also completed his education. Beginning in the early 1950s, he served Bradley County in the capacity of an agricultural extension agent.

After that, he became the office manager for Production Credit Association, where he remained employed for a total of 24 years. After working with Production Credit Association for many years, he eventually decided to retire and pursue a career in real estate, eventually landing a job with Williams Realty. Blount County’s agricultural community bestowed upon him a number of awards, including the Blount County 4H Distinguished Service Award, the Friendship Citation of the Eastern Region 4-H Programs, the Blount County Livestock Distinguished Service Award, the Blount County Soil Conservation Dedicated Service Award, and the FFA Honorary Chapter Farmer award.
