Benjamin “Frank” Franklin Obituary (1938 – 2018): Benjamin Franklin, also known as “Frank,” passed away on December 21, 2018, at the age of eighty. He was known affectionately by this name. Frank Franklin Dandy was his mother, and his father, William H. Franklin, was his father. Frank was born on March 17, 1938, in Abbeville, South Carolina. Frank spent part of his early childhood in Philadelphia, but the family moved back to Abbeville so that he could finish his schooling there. In 1956, he enlisted in the armed forces of the United States. Following his time in the military, he relocated to New York City. Frank, who had a reputation for being a diligent worker, tried his hand at a number of different occupations before landing a job with the United States Postal Service, where he remained for more than three decades. After he retired, Frank and his wife of twenty-seven years were able to spend more time together enjoying activities such as fishing, traveling, and paying visits to their respective families and friends. Benjamin Franklin Thomas, Sr., of Vancleave, Mississippi: Benjamin Franklin On Friday, April 10, 2015, Thomas, Sr., age 49, of Vancleave, passed away. On December 9, 1965, he was born to his late parents, JD Franklin and Hazel May Franklin. His profession was that of a fisherman. His parents, JD and Hazel May Franklin, his sister Evelyn Marie Payne, who was very special to him, and his three brothers, Neil, Paul, and Mike Beaugez, all passed away before he did. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Sandra Marie Franklin; children Laura Renee Franklin, Benjamin Thomas Franklin, Jr., Ashley Nicole Chanellor, John Edward Dennis, and Robin Danielle Ross; sisters Eunice Lizana, Mary Lott, and Nancy Beaugez; eight brothers Danny, William, Alton Sr., Kenneth, Sr., Chester Sr., and Norman Franklin; Stanley Beaugez and Elliott Beaugez; and grandchildren Ehan Michael Grimes, William Bryce Landre. Benjamin Franklin Blakely, Paducah, Kentucky: Benjamin Franklin Blakely, age 91, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at the Superior Care Home-Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Paducah on Monday, February 18, 2013. Benjamin was a veteran of the United States Navy and a member of the Baptist faith. In a previous life, he worked for Martin Marietta in the environmental services department. His daughter, Fayette Clark of Paducah, one granddaughter, two grandsons, and nine great-grandchildren are the only members of his family to survive him. His wife Barbara Blakely, his parents, Virginia Jenkins and Virginia Jenkins, and one of his sisters all passed away before him. Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home was the location of the funeral services that took place on Monday, February 25, 2013, at noon, and the Reverend Michael Wade presided over the ceremony. After the service, burial will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery. Full Obituary
