Augustine Seberger Obituary and Death – On January 23, 1887, Augustine Seberger made his debut into the world in New York City. He passed away on June 12, 1967, when he was eighty years old. 1906 was the year that Augustine Seberger received his diploma from Stuyvesant High School. Following that, he enrolled at Columbia University, where he eventually earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1910. After that, in 1913, he graduated with a medical degree from Cornell University’s Medical College. Dr. Seberger began his career in medicine as a resident at Bellevue Hospital in New York City immediately following his graduation from medical school.

He enlisted in the United States Army in 1915 and worked as a surgeon for the duration of World War I. The wedding took place on October 20, 1917, and the bride’s maiden name was Mary Eileen O’Brien. They were blessed with three offspring as a couple. Their son, John Seberger, went on to have a successful career in architecture.

Dr. Seberger established his own medical practice in Manhattan in the year 1920. Internal medicine and obstetrics were his areas of expertise in the medical field. Patients under his care included many famous people, such as Babe Ruth, Charlie Chaplin, and Douglas Fairbanks, among others.

In 1958, Dr. Seberge decided to hang up his medical license and retire. He did not stop working until the year 1967, the year he passed away. Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn, New York was chosen to be the location of his burial.
