1. Ashton Anderson Obituary – Death
A little after 10 o’clock in the evening, members of Louisiana State Police Troop A began their investigation into a collision involving two vehicles. on September 6 which resulted in the death of a Prairieville man who was 20 years old. Ashton Anderson was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision that occurred near the intersection of Highways 931 and 44 in Ascension Parish, according to a press statement. The preliminary inquiry indicated that a young driver operating a 2015 Toyota Corolla was making a left turn onto Highway 44 from a private parking lot at the time of the collision. During the same time period, Anderson was traveling north on Highway 44 atop a 2019 Kawasaki Motorcycle.
Anderson’s other passenger was a minor child, and the two of them were traveling together on the motorcycle. The driver of the Toyota made a turn directly into the path of the motorcycle for unknown reasons that are still being examined. The front of the Kawasaki collided with the front fender of the Toyota, which resulted in both of the motorcycle’s occupants being thrown out of the vehicle. Anderson passed away as a result of his injuries, despite the fact that he was wearing a helmet that had been authorized by the DOT. In addition, the little child who was riding as a passenger on the motorcycle was sent to a nearby hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. 2. Marlene A. Anderson Obituary, in Pulaski – Death
She had completed her high school at the Pulaski location. They tied the knot on July 21, 1962. Clifford “Tippy” Anderson was her husband. He passed away on January 11, 2005, a day before she did. Marlene was a devoted partner and mother to her family. She loved her grandchildren, family, and dogs, and she was a fan of the New York Yankees baseball team. She also enjoyed conversing on the phone with her friends. Marlene is survived by her daughter: Dawn (Bob) Van Schyndel; grandchildren: Kiley, Aiden, and Bennett; and two sisters: Kathy (Harry) Grady and Gail (Charlie) Schoenung.
She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, along with further family and acquaintances. Her parents, her sister Gerry Reinke, and her brother Richard “Dickie” Nowicki all passed away before Marlene. Her husband Tippy also passed away before her. On the evening of Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at 6:00 p.m., a funeral service commemorating the life of Marlene will be conducted at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Parish, and the Reverend Matt Simonar will preside over the ceremony.
