1. Annie Wilder Death, Facebook Tribute – Obituary

SEIU HCIIMK home child care leader and retired Executive Board member Ms. Annie Wilder passed away unexpectedly on September 6. Annie first stepped into leadership fighting against Gov. Bruce Rauner’s attacks on child care, speaking up for family, friend and neighbor home child care providers. Annie spent countless hours phone banking and door-knocking SEIU child care members to fire Rauner and to grow the union. In 2019, she spent a week in California to organize home child care providers, who were on the verge of an organizing victory almost 20 years in the making. She was elected to the SEIU HCIIMK Executive Board in 2020, and stepped back from her role on the board because of personal responsibilities,  Source
