In Bridgeport, Connecticut, on April 4, 1963, Anne Mary Costanza-Kootz was born to the late Ronald J. Costanza and Phyllis J. Costanza (Verzaro). She passed away quietly, surrounded by family, on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, after a protracted health fight. Ronald J. Costanza Jr. joins her father, mother, and deceased sibling. Joseph M. Kootz, her devoted spouse, is her sole heir. Phyllis A. Craig and Wayne S. Costanza are devoted parents. Son-in-law Daniel J. Squires and daughter-in-law Rachel E. Costanza. Daniel E. BiField, Annabelle M. Costanza, Luke W. Costanza, Benjamin R. Costanza, and Amelia A. Squires are some of her adored grandchildren.

She was a very lovely woman who loved God and showed that love by having an abundant heart for people, regardless of who they were. Not just with her superb cuisine, but also with her kind and kind nature, she fed everyone she encountered. The loving deeds and devotion she displayed are what her family remembers her the most. Whether it be a deep chat, feeding the crowds at her church, or a much-needed prayer. She wanted to bless and assist everyone she encountered. On July 10, 2022, Theresa Koontz, 69, of Jefferson Township, died peacefully. Terry was the daughter of Gloria and the late Raymond Freeland and was born in Chicago, Illinois, and raised in Little Falls. Paul and Rachel Koontz, the couple’s two children, were raised in Jefferson Twp. after their 1975 marriage to Paul E. Koontz, Jr. Terry was a loving wife, daughter, sister, and friend in addition to being a devoted wife. However, she loved being a grandmother to her two grandchildren. She was a wonderful person with a good heart who never encountered a stranger. She was a beacon of hope and an inspiration to countless people, and she will be remembered for her grace and optimism despite the numerous challenges she overcame.

Terry was devoted to her family, but she was also devoted to her neighborhood. She recently received the Jefferson Township Citizen of the Year award, which recognized her decades-long commitment to service. Terry spent more than 20 years on the Jefferson Township Recreation Advisory Board. He also spent a long time on the boards of the Milton Recreation Association and Jefferson Youth Soccer. She ran a week-long soccer summer camp and volunteered as a softball and soccer coach. She served as one of Camp Jefferson Summer Camp’s original co-directors from its inception until 2020. Source
