1. Andrew James Palmer Obituary, of Taylorsville – Death
Andrew was the son of Robert Palmer and Elsie Jean Back Palmer, both of whom predeceased him, and was born on December 3, 1949, in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama. He received his bachelor’s degree in History and Business from Lake Erie College in Ohio, where he studied both of those subjects. He worked as a purchasing agent for Parker Hannifin until he retired from the company. He had served in the Army Reserves and adhered to the Catholic faith throughout his life. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Robert Burton Palmer.
His parents also passed away before him. Those left to cherish and honor his memories include his daughter, Jennifer Jones (Ed) of Madison, OH, his son, Andy Palmer (Bridget) of Taylorsville; his grandchildren, Weston Palmer, Sammy Palmer, Eddie Jones, Connor Jones, Katie Jones; his sisters, Dorothy Sukalac (James), Mary Hollowell, Catherin Saxon, Veronica Boylan (Daniel). A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ronald McDonald House. Full Obituary
2. Andrew Demetrious Palmer Obituary, born in Nashville, Tennessee – Death
At the Tristar Centennial Medical Center on January 13, 2022, he underwent the procedure that earned him his wings. His mother and father, as well as his sister Myra Renee Goode, passed away before he did. Andrew made a public profession of faith in Jesus Christ at a young age and afterward joined the Hicks Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church. He attended classes in the Metropolitan Nashville Public School system and earned his diploma from Glencliff High School. His education was provided by the MNPS.
Up to the time of his death, he worked as a truck driver for Nale Logistics for a total of eight years. On February 3, 2020, Andrew wed the woman he has loved more than anything in his whole life, Sharie Palmer. Over the course of more than three decades, they shared a life filled with love and joy. Andrew enjoyed a variety of activities, including driving trucks, and watching his favorite football team, the Tennessee Titans, as well as other sports, but he treasured the time he spent with his family the most.
