Maria Consuelo “Chelo” Lora, 53 years old, a resident of Blackfoot, Idaho, passed away at her home on Monday, November 11, 2013. Zimapan, Hildalgo, Mexico was the location of her birth on December 7th, 1959. Her parents were Narciso Lora Labra and Placida Cruz. Maria spent her childhood in the Mexican municipality of Zimapan, and for the past 22 years she has called Blackfoot home. She attended Mass on a regular basis at the Roman Catholic Church. On May 4, 1994, she tied the knot with Nemorio Trejo in the city of Blackfoot, Idaho. Maria was an employee at the Idaho Potato Packers, which later became NonPareil. She was devoted to her family and had many interests, including singing, music, and cooking.

She had a warm demeanor, was approachable, and made friends easily. She is survived by her husband, Nemorio Trejo; her sons, Edgar (Alondra) Trejo of Blackfoot, Idaho, and Luis (Ana) Trejo of California; her daughter, Rocio (Travis) Ramirez of Pocatello; her mother, Placida Cruz Lora of Mexico; her brothers, Roberto Lora, Adrian Lora, and Silverio Lora; her sisters, Sebastiana Lora, Genoveva Lora, Evangelin Both her father, Narciso Lora Labra, and her brother, Francisco Lora Cruz, passed away before she did. A funeral mass will be held at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church on Friday, November 15, 2013, at eleven in the morning. On Thursday evening at 6:00 o’clock, there will be a Rosary Service held at the Hawker Funeral Home, which is located at 132 S.  Read more
