Accident on Zapata Highway sends two to the hospital – Car Accident

LAREDO, Tx. (KGNS) – A young man and woman are injured after a two-vehicle collision in south Laredo.

The incident happened on Wednesday at around 7 p.m. when crews responded to Jaime Zapata Highway near Los Presidents for a two-vehicle accident.

Upon arrival, Laredo Fire crews found a 19-year-old who was pinned inside the vehicle.

The rescue team was able to remove her from the vehicle and take her to LMC.

A 19-year-old man was also taken to LMC in serious condition.
